Do you want to start a profitable business? I have an idea how you can do that from a simple beginning.
Yes, the idea is using a blog. And I can prove that to you that it’s not only possible, it’s the best option today.
Let’s even look at how businesses begin at this age. The usual steps are to:
- Find a profitable idea.
- Next is to build a website.
- Then seek funding from investors or crowdfunding.
- Start a launch to gain a customer base.
- And finally, start selling the product or service.
Whatever is the process that it’s good for you. But I think the process is pretty much similar one way or another.
However, here is my point.
You will always need customers to buy the product down the line. There will always be a customer management strategy.
In fact, you may not even get the funding because investors may not be convinced that your idea has market potential.
But you can turn all the excuses you should get into a simple business startup strategy. Investors like to see unique concepts and startups ready for markets.
Starting your business with a blog idea will give you a huge advantage in the marketplace while building a brand around your service.

Why Use A Blog?
You may ask, why use a blog? I can think of many reasons you should. You might even know one or two from your challenge in starting your business.
But I want to give you some of them while you add yours to it.
- It’s easy to start
- It’s a marketing strategy
- Great customer strategy
- It’s a brand advantage
- An investors friendly
The Easy Start:
You all know how to start a blog. It’s the simplest form of a website. And you can start one immediately. I have also recently several articles on how to start a blog.
The one I will most likely recommend now is Blogging for Beginners. It gives it to you in the most simplistic of form.
Even if you don’t know how to start a blog before, it will educate you thoroughly with less technical fluff.
However, starting a blog is easy. It’s around $100 dollar investment.
Although, for a business, you might go a little further. There are several plugins I would recommend.
I have written about some of them also in Blogging for Beginners. So, you will have a much better help from that guide.
Moreover, it’s a free guide. It’s published on my blog.
I’m not making a financial recommendation here.
The Marketing Strategy:
Startup businesses spend heavily on marketing.
In fact, the biggest budget for a startup is a marketing cost. The kind of money companies invest in marketing is sometimes not recoverable in years after startup.
But you can drastically reduce your marketing budget by using a blog as your startup platform.
Already, blogs are designed for content marketing.
That gives you an advantage in search engines above your competition. You can craft powerful contents that brand your business better.
And channel your campaign with the customer in mind, giving more details than creative advertising could do.

It’s a four-part course that includes Content Marketing in part Three of the course. It’s a more detailed information to guide you with a marketing strategy for your profitable business on a blog.
The Customer Strategy:
The biggest need of any startup business is customer base. The cost of acquiring one customer is growing every day.
Companies spend billions annually on customer acquisition. One of the major hosting companies for bloggers pay affiliates up to $65 per customer.
That’s how much a customer is worth to them. One million of those customers is worth $65 million to them.
Yet. There are many blogs with more than one million monthly traffic.
If you consider the investment blogs make to get visitors monthly, it does not compare to huge company cost for the same.
Yet these blogs can have such huge traffic monthly, running into hundreds of millions annually.
The Brand Optimization:
I know one of the biggest branding strategies is top of the mind awareness. This one is on top of everything awareness.
It does not only keep your brand top, it also drives traffic to you. Building your brand with blog helps you deal with any issue that attacked your brand identity.
You can control what people know, think and believe about your brand. It’s an unusual kind of branding.
And when merged with social media platforms, YouTube and Q&A sites, the effect is atomic.
Okay, here is where you ask for the money. You can do all that we have described already without even starting the business yet.
Imagine, getting millions of hits to your blog and customer eagerly waiting for a product or service you haven’t even offered yet.
Even your potential investors are queuing up by now for a slice of the cake.
You won’t be looking for funding.
The funds are waiting for you to ask for it. You may have started all these processes with a little shoestring budget, but now someone is going to empty their vaults and give you all the money you need.
If you understand what we have done so far is creating a market for your product before you even get the money to produce it.
You don’t need a miracle to tell you that you have won. You are a profitable business on a blog.
