In On-page SEO it deals with aspects on your blog that is optimizable for search engines. While Off-page SEO involves elements on other websites on the internet that can be tuned to improve the authority of your blog for ranking benefits.

You can target several keywords on your blog. That is why Blog is synonymous with content marketing. Every blog page is a marketing tool.
The page title is the most critical part of your on-page SEO strategy. Apart from SEO strategy, It’s the first thing your visitors read.
It must be compelling enough to make them want to read the whole content. It should also be as simple to convey the solution the post is offering.
And should also contain your focus keyword. Some bloggers stuff their title with keywords. Try not to do that. It’s essential to give the search engine the direction of your content.
On-Page Meta Description:
Many people forget to include meta descriptions for their pages. It’s not mandatory, but it’s crucial for SEO. It’s a description of each of your post. And it gives you another opportunity to optimize each page for the keyword you want to rank top.
It tells search engines what your post is about. And it also helps visitors preview what your post delivers to them.
Google will automatically select the first few paragraphs of your post as Meta Description. But if you an using SEO plugin, it gives you the power to craft powerful meta Description an align it with your title for impact.
On-Page URL Structure:
URL structure is fundamental. It’s done even before you start posting. You should check how the URL of your blog will display.
The structure should help the search engine to understand your page. Avoid dynamic URL. It’s not SEO compatible.
Your focus keyword should be a part of your URL. And don’t do long URL. After 512 pixels, Google truncated the rest in URL structure.

On-Page Keyword Density:
The keyword is vital for SEO. The page should have a right amount of the focus keyword you want to maximize.
There are rules of keyword optimization. While some people agree that your posts shouldn’t contain more than 2.5 percent keyword density, I think that may impact your post negatively. Below 1 percent for your focus keyword is practically ok for a readable post.
If you are optimizing for a long tail keyword, you may fall victim to the unreadable post. Trying to insert some long tail keyword into a well-written post may not help its readability.
However, you can achieve even more than that 2.5 percent keyword density by using alternative keyword phrases for your long tail keywords.
Google sees synonyms and alternative phrase as the same as your focus keyword. And it doesn’t penalize for it. So even if you breach the keyword density limit with other sentences, but still maintain readability, Google is ok with it.
Optimizing your images for SEO is essential. It’s one more way of optimizing your focus keyword without being penalized for stuffing.
Just add the focus keyword in your image attribute.
There is so much to talk about in your blog internal linking. And this is different from backlinks.

You must have researched this focus keyword like I advised you do. Just ad it to your SEO plugin and use it to analyze the content.
First Paragraph Copy:
The focus keyword should appear in the first paragraph of the content. It’s an on-page SEO technique. It helps search engine link your post to search keywords. And it also gives direction on the content of your post.
Some experts advise that you bolden the keyword in the first paragraph. But I don’t think it’s of any SEO relevance to do so. Search engines read the post, and they are not just looking out for bold keywords.
Planning Keyword Density:
There is a general norm about keyword density. But I don’t go with standards. In fact, Google might be checkmating those norms. While it’s not wrong to follow the 2.5 percent keyword density, I don’t support it.
I would rather have a better copy than the following keyword density norm. In all my posts I stay below 1 percent keyword density.
Meta Description Length:
The meta description should contain the focus keyword. It’s of SEO importance. It assists the keyword relevance of your title page.
But also necessary is the length of the Meta Description. Although search engines don’t penalize or rank your blog by the length of your Meta Description, it serves an important purpose.
And you should pay attention to it. Some recommend that the Google prescribed length is 156 characters. Stick with it if you can.
It gives a concise description when visitors are reading your Google snippet. But the length doesn’t in any way affect how Google ranks your site.
Keywords in Subheadings:
Your focus keyword must appear in some of your Subheadings.
Depending on the length of your content and how many Subheadings. The more Subheadings, the more you should increase keywords subheads too.
However, if you are using an SEO Plugin, it will help you determine how many of those focus keyword Subheadings will be enough.
Image Use and Alt Attributes:
The images on your post contain alt attributes with the focus keyword. It’s vital for image SEO technique.
You can edit the alt attributes when uploading the image into the content. If you have uploaded without the alt attributes, you can also edit the image to add the focus keyword.
Total Words in Text:
Your post should contain more words. The recommended minimum is 300 words for SEO content. But there are views about more content beyond the minimum.
Google is also known to value more content in a post. There are views that post should be more lengthy depending on the niche.
Some believe that the average text should be between 1,250 to 2,500 words.
Although, there are no maximum words given by Google. That means the more relevant words you have in a post, the better. But readability should also be necessary here.
SEO Title Length:
The SEO title should have a nice length. Some recommend up to 70 characters. You would not be panelized if your post didn’t follow the length specification. But I can cut some of the words of your title page and make it difficult to understand your page.
However, as the most critical aspect of your search engine visibility snippet, you should care about how it appears to people.
The reason being that it’s what people ready before deciding to click on your link. If it doesn’t describe the content they are looking for, how would they know if it’s relevant to their search.
It’s always good to link your pages to another relevant information on your blog. It makes SEO sense. It helps Google bots to crawl your page to find out more contents within your blog.
It’s also a way of helping users discover other information in your blog. The benefits of an internal link to your on-page search engine optimization are unlimited.
URL Structure with Focus Keywords:
The focus keyword should appear in the URL for your post. These are more of the ways you increase the keyword relevance of your post. Google will be checking all these areas to index your post within the related context.

The primary factor in SEO content is a readability score. The higher the score, the better the quality search engines append to it.
Google is designed to deliver quality content. And it values quality and ranks the, above less quality content. So, giving your content the highest quality score would always help its SEO ranking.
There are parts of your content that you should pay close attention when writing a blog post. It will help you come up with the best content always.

The Subheadings are essential to SEO. We talked about the H2, H3 and H4. They are all subheads tags. They help to direct search engines on the relevance of each part of your content to the focus keyword.

The length of your paragraph is vital in SEO content readability score. A shorter section is easier to read than longer ones.
You should make your paragraphs short enough to enable visitors to scan through easily. Most people don’t read all your content. Making it short encourages them to browse more content.
The recommended paragraph length is 300 words. If you have a long paragraph, you can divide them up into smaller sections using subheadings.
Minimum Words Per Sentence:
Also, shorter sentences are good for SEO content readability score. Long sentences can be clumsy. And short sentences are more clear and direct. It’s easier to read and understand.
A sentence with more than 20 words would be considered long.
Although, you cannot altogether avoid using more extended sentence structure. But try as much as possible to prevent overusing long sentences.
The recommended maximum long sentence you can use in content is 25 percent. Anything above that scores your content low in readability test.
Passive Words Recommendation:
As a blogger, you must learn to take a position on every topic. Your sentences should also show in strong terms your position.
Don’t use too much of passive voice. The less passive voice you use, the better for your SEO content.
The recommended maximum is 10 percent. It takes into account that you may use passive words but doesn’t make it the object of your content by using more of it in your sentences.
These are connecting words. They help the flow of your thought pattern. And it’s important to your SEO content score.
One big plus for SEO content is the story. The search engine perceives your posts as story contents. Transition Words connects different thoughts in the content to present them as one easy idea.
So, your content must be fluent and connecting to earlier thoughts. It’s the transition Words that reminds Search Engine bits that you are still on the same topic.

Your content should always be with the intention to make them humanly readable.

A high score is 100 percent. But keeping your content within a high score is essential.
Any score below 70 percent impacts on your search engine optimization. Seek to keep it high, from 70 percent, which is ‘fairly’ easy to read, to 80 percent plus which is considered easy to read.
